Door mats not only serve an important function (like stopping dirt before it comes into your home), but they are the first thing to greet people when they reach your door. They might show off your personal style, share a quote, or warn people about what to expect.
Any way you play it, door mats are one of my favorite pieces to customize the exterior of my home and I change them with my mood and season. Here’s 18 of our favorite door mats to greet guests in style! The best part? Most are from Amazon or Nordstrom and come with free or Prime shipping. 😉

I have door mats at each of my exterior doors: a wide one for the front door, a large rubber one in our garage before entering the house, and even one by our porch door. They truly make a difference in keeping dirt out of the house, you wouldn’t believe how much grass clippings and mud they collect!
Don’t forget, you can layer them too! That buffalo checked version (#10) is gorgeous underneath a smaller doormat for a farmhouse look.
Aren’t those great?! I’m especially loving the woven knot to fit my coastal style and the faux hex tile mat for my obsession with tile floors.
