Here’s a recipe my mom used to make when we were younger. It’s light, has three ingredients, and is wonderfully refreshing on a summer day!
Are you ready? Pay attention, this is a tough one to follow…
You take two of these (any brand, any flavor that you like):
One of these, thawed (I used light, but you can use any kind):
and mix them together in a bowl.
Pour them into this (I chose reduced fat, you won’t miss the fat– trust me!)
And throw into the freezer until frozen (about 4-5 hours).
You get this (ohhhh, sparkly!):
When you’re ready to eat it, simply let it thaw for a few minutes and cut out a slice.
I dressed mine with some chopped fruit salad (or, ‘fruit salad salsa’ for you Laurie Berkner fans):
Yeah, it’s pretty much the perfect recipe to make with kids. And to keep your waistline svelte. AND to impress your guests, with only about 5 minutes prep time!
