Cooking with your kids is all about creating memorable meals and healthy eating habits. But also? It’s about FUN!
My kids were giggling for 5 minutes straight after watching the eCard I made on the Chef Boyardee Facebook page. You’ll have to visit that link to see it in action, but here’s a still shot of the animated card:
Oh my, the way Bee shakes that cheese and Noodle kicks that pizza we were rolling on the floor! I’m not usually good with those things but it was the easiest ecard I’ve ever made, and it’s in the post-nap-pre-dinner arsenal for a few good laughs during the oh-so-long wait time while dinner bakes.
Go ahead and make one for yourself, your kids will love it! You don’t need to worry about photo size, either– they have an easy way to resize and position photos so it takes no time at all.
If you are into Twitter parties, we’re having one tomorrow to chat about special holiday moments with family in the kitchen. There will be tips and ideas for creating family time in the kitchen, bonding over everyday fun, creating kitchen magic, and recipes too of course. Join us Thursday, December 6 from 2-3pm ET for a lively conversation… and oh, some prizes too. Simply follow the #LittleChefs hashtag, and if you wish you can RSVP here.
Many thanks to The Motherhood for sponsoring this event and the Little Chefs campaign, it’s been a joy to share my love of food and family and learn so much as well. See you tomorrow on Twitter– and fingers crossed some lucky Making Lemonade readers will win some snazzy prizes!
