As commercial as this particular holiday has become, it really is a sweet one if you think about it. What could be lovelier than having a day to tell those you love just how much you adore them? On that note, here are ten Valentine’s Day ideas I rounded up that could score some major “awwwwwww’s” from those you love.
Wake up your sweeties with some heart-shaped Cinnamon rolls (found at Poppies at Play).
You know I can’t resist a cute bunting (from A Pretty Cool Life).
Any Scrabble lovers? (images from at A Room To Inspire)
I made sure to grab some 50% off mini candy canes post-Christmas this year for this project featured on Skip to My Lou.
I’m thinking those hearts will look cute atop the chocolate cupcakes with peppermint frosting (recipe from Ready, Set, Craft) that I plan to bake. A few for the neighbors, a few for grandma and the family, and about five for me. What can I say? I love me some cupcakes.
My mom collects buttons… the sewing kind. Like thousands upon thousands of vintage buttons. I bet this heart would also look amazing with monochromatic sewing buttons! (image from A Room to Inspire)
Finally, some Etsy gorgeousness.
Just a Little Love necklace– I actually bought this for a friend last month, because I wanted to show her a little love. 😉
Totally random, falling into the category only because it’s something I love. (found at Nervous System)

I love the cinnamon roll idea, might even make heart shaped bisquits or rolls with dinner since DH leaves early and doesn’t eat breakfast with us. Thanks!

Okay, I am not a Valentine’s Day person (or any holiday, for that matter) technically, but those heart-shape rolls ALMOST make me want to get into the spirit this year.

OMG! I don’t know if I would choose the dinosaur, the robot, or the owl “colorable” sets–all three of those things are favorites in the house right now and would make the Li’l Miss go crazy.
