I figured I’d get this post in here before the Thanksgiving “break” because tonight I’m going to post my Gratitude Party and hopefully take the next few days to relax and enjoy my family. I also pledge to read each and every link you post to the party, because I can’t think of a better way to spend this week than reveling in all the things we’re thankful for.
With that in mind, I figured I’d do my Black Friday post on a Tuesday. The problem is that I’m not a huge Black Friday shopper. I despise crowds, and the thought of getting up so early to be with them gives me nightmares! I’m so envious of those with a game plan, ads in hand, sneakers laced, Starbucks ready, just waiting until 4AM for those stores to open. I hope to hear some great tales and all about the deals you got when we get back from break.
So what’s a non-Black Friday shopper to do when she wants to help out her readers? I scouted out the Black Friday posts that have been popping up on other blogs and I think I found an extremely comprehensive one. Laurie from Tip Junkie breaks it all down here. She has links to articles about planning your trip, surviving the crowds, great deals to be found, and tons of Black Friday ads. So enjoy the fruits of her labor, and let me know how it goes!
