With so many friends and family members expecting little ones, I certainly have babies on the brain and know others do, too. This February, I’m hosting an event full of giveaways, guest posts, DIY gift and decor ideas, and inspiration for anyone who has (or will have) a baby in their life.
I had some trouble deciding on a name. I don’t want it to be a “Baby Shower” in case people think I’m throwing a baby shower for myself {I’m not, I promise!}. “Baby Bash” sounds criminal and “Baby Blowout” conjures images of… well, anyone who has had an infant knows what I’m thinking about. So The Stork Report it is, unless any of my genius readers come up with a great name (any suggestions are appreciated)!
Here’s what I’m looking for from you, my lovely readers:
- do you have (or know someone who has) a baby-based business you’d like to promote with a giveaway and/or review?
- are you interested in designing a blog button for the event? I can’t pay, but would be more than happy to give you tons of credit and blog shout-outs!
- are you willing to be a guest blogger? I’d love baby related posts on: thrifty tips, advice, experiences, funny stories, website reviews… you name it!
- do you have any fun and/or unique baby craft tutorials to share? Perhaps photos of a nursery you’ve recently decorated? Gift ideas, preferably DIY ones? Baby shower photos/ideas?
If ANY of the above apply to you, please comment below or email me:

Very cool.
I nursed all three of my boys, even though I found it rather painful and not as easy as you’d think. If you want a guest post on breastfeeding(that does NOT bash bottle feeding), I’ll do that!

So far we’ve got 3 guest bloggers lined up (possibly 4)! There’s always room for more; I’m looking for a wide range of topics so don’t hesitate to propose an idea. If we get enough, I’ll start to recruit you for when I go on “maternity leave” in May!

This is a great idea! I have two little girls 2 and 5. One of things I have learn with them is how to sell their clothes on ebay to make extra money to buy them new clothes every season. I love buy them super cute outfits…but it is expensive so this is a perfect way to keep recycling their wardrobe. I would love to do a guest post on this.
