When Costume Discounters asked me to review a costume from their extensive online Halloween costume catalog, how could I say no? Especially when I knew a certain someone would love to dress up like a special character she adores so much.
Can you guess who?
This Abby Cadabby costume came with a dress, fairy wings, and even her signature pink and purple hair poofs. There are other Sesame Street costumes too… some even for adults if you are so inclined!
Noodle had a little trouble keeping the yarn “pigtails” attached because of her fine hair, but barrettes helped secure them in place.
Now if she’d just stop moving so I could take a photo, we’d be alllllllll set. But she couldn’t stop moving because she was flitting around like Abby Cadabby would, saying “poof!” and pretending to turn her brother into a pumpkin.
Since she already has a costume for Halloween, this one is being added to her dress-up collection. After all, why does she have to play pretend only one day of the year when she can be a sweet little fairy every day?

Ahhh, she looks so cute! Am I showing my age when I say I don’t recognise this character from Sesame Street at all!! The boys don’t have a dress up box, I find it hard enough keeping them in everyday clothes, they are in the ‘I must be naked at all times, waving my bum out the window’ phase, maybe some fun costumes could be the answer!!

Olive was having trouble choosing between a lion or a tiger (since they both go “RAWR!” and right now scaring people is her favorite pastime). So we’ve had the brilliant idea that she can be a LIGER! (Yes, we are a family of giant dorks.)

This is so cute. My daughter would love this costume! Sesame is a favorite around our house.
