Deal Alert: Starbucks Via for $1.99 at Genuardis

edited on 2/1: I visited the store yesterday and they took the sign down. Guess they ended the deal early. Oh, well, it’s probably a good thing… I probably would have thrown more into my cart!

I’m not sure if this is a local deal at Genuardis or in all Safeway stores, but I found Starbucks instant coffee (Via) on sale for $1.99 through February 4th. I save Starbucks coupons for times like this, and amazingly had one for $1 off a pack. Wish I’d had more, that would have almost literally been a steal. Normally it’s $7.99 a pack, well out of my budget range… but for this price, I may have gone a little nuts:

and that’s just the Colombia flavor. I’m hiding the Italian Roast. Blame it on the snow, but I stocked up. My husband has 6AM international teleconferences several times a week, so this is just the thing to help him transition from bed (5:59AM) to work (6AM). Love you, honey!

{Italian Roast and Columbia were the only flavors included in the deal, if Caramel had been involved this post would have been a lot nuttier. The Caramel is pretty darn good for instant coffee… and this warmth-starved girl would have bought out the store.}
