These gel air fresheners eat smells that hang in the air. `They are made with gelatin, vodka, and essential oils. I like to place a few in the stinkiest places like the bathroom and near the kitchen trash can.

The Best Essential Oils To Use In The Refrigerator

I think that any citrus essential oil will smell amazing in your refrigerator. My favorite kind of all time is lemon essential oil. It has a sun-kissed aroma that lifts your mood the minute you smell it!

You could also try making a fridge deodorizer with either orange, lime, tangerine, or grapefruit essential oil.

How To Deodorize The Fridge

The first step is going to be to clean out your refrigerator. Throw away any expired food and wipe everything down. Then, make the fridge deodorizer.

This is one of the easiest things you can do. Just add the baking soda to the mason jar, then drop some essential oil drops on top. Cover it with a cheesecloth so that the essential oil can do its job and make your fridge smell amazing!

How often should I change baking soda fridge deodorizer?

I suggest changing your fridge deodorizer once a month. After about 30 days, the baking soda would have absorbed as many odors as possible and would need to be switched out with a new supply.
