Hello, and happy Thanksgiving! We are spending it at the Outer Banks where it’s chilly but beautiful. I’m thankful to be with family and of course for all of you. Not a day goes by where I don’t pinch myself that I get to do a ‘job’ I love so much and help others at the same time. Ahhhh… enough mushiness. But I do love you! 😉 Since Thanksgiving is a holiday where the central star is food, I figured today’s gift guide for foodies would be a great fit. So sit back, put your feet up, and read what to get for that person who’s working away in the kitchen today. And if that person is YOU, go ahead and share this guide so all those grateful attendees know just what to get ya. Blessings and love to you all!
Red Pasta Pot This Bialetti cookware is highly rated without the huge pricetag of other brands. The strainer in the lid makes draining pasta a breeze, too.
Phillips Air Fryer Air fry foods for 75% less fat! There are some foods that just taste best fried, but if you’re like me and loathe to use a deep fryer this is the perfect compromise.
Sur La Tab Copper Measuring Cups Love this swoon worthy copper measuring cups! These are so pretty you can leave them on the countertop or hang up in plain sight and they’ll only add to the warmth of your kitchen.
Oven to Table Platter This beautiful platter takes full advantage of the thermal properties of soapstone to keep hot food like appetizers hot, and chilled food such as sushi and cheese cool and fresh. Once it’s prepared to the desired temperature, the wood caddy protects the platter (and your table) and incorporates handles for carrying.
KitchenAid Copper Stand Mixer Copper is a theme on my list this year, I’ve always loved it and am thrilled it’s trending! I’ve held off thus far on purchasing a KitchenAid mixer and I think it’s because I was meant to get the copper version. 😉
Salt and Pepper Grinder Set A great grinder set is a real help in the kitchen. These are highly rated, you can adjust the desired courseness and it grinds evenly. They don’t come with the salt or pepper but that’s good so you can get your favorite ones! Might I recommend pink Himalayan sea salt? It’s not only pretty but very tasty too.
Global Chef’s Knife A great chef’s knife is a MUST. Do not pass go, do not collect $200, if you have a crappy knife, replace it. I say it every year but a sharp chef’s knife is the one tool that has made food prep so much easier and efficient.
Moscow Mule Set I had my first official Moscow Mule yesterday! And now that I know what’s supposed to go in my Moscow Mule mugs, I’d been using them as decor up until now (whoops.) Bring on the ginger beer.
Spiralizer Veggie Slicer Set I keep buying $5 containers of spiralized veggies at Whole Foods, and it occurred to me that it would have been cheaper just to purchase a Spiralizer from the get-go. Spiralized veggies are a delicious way to cut carbs and eat clean. If you follow the Whole30 or Paleo lifestyle, this is an essential tool for your kitchen.
Lodge Cast Iron Skillet You need a cast iron skillet. Really. This skillet is a classic for a reason and once you start using it you won’t want to stop. Can you say ‘skillet corn bread?’ (yum)
The Skinnytaste Cookbook Shrimp and grits. Light in calories. GET IN MY BELLY.
Instant Pot Pressure Cooker Instant pots are the new crockpots. Which were the new fondue pots. Or something. But really, everyone raves about how easy these are to use and how quickly they cook food. Are you on the instant pot wagon?
State Slate Cheeseboards These slate cheeseboards come in either the USA shape or the shape of your state, and I have to say– I was happily shocked at the price tag! Now, do I get the PA, NC, or MA one?
Gilded Greetings Cheese Board Another fun cheese board. Can you REALLY have too many cheeseboards? (yes. yes you can. but roll with me on this one folks.)
Stemless Fountain Aerating Wine Glass Set Decant your favorite wine with this stemless glass, designed to aerate to perfection. If I had this, I’d just keep pouring because it’s so darn pretty.
Hexagon Marble & Gold Coasters Marble, gold and hexagons. Pretty much everything that’s on my ‘signature style’ list. Plus they protect tables and countertops as well as look great.
Twig and Branch Picks Pep up your cheese cubes with these festive gold branch and twig picks.
Freshworks Produce Savers I’m placing this last because it’s almost too practical to give to someone. But if you’re a sucker for practical gifts like me, you’ll love this 4-piece set that keeps produce fresh up to 80% longer. With a built-in FreshVent lid filter and elevated CrispTray at the bottom, moisture stays away allowing you to enjoy crisp produce. Yes, I’m a geek but I’m loving these!
As for me, I’ll take one of everything please. 😉 With almost all my cooking and servingware in storage, I’m coveting each and every item on this list!
