One of the things I miss most about being pregnant are the yummy mixed drinks I used to have while out to dinner or with friends. Among my favorites was the bellini. This one sounds delish, without the alcohol. Paula used champagne in the episode, but said obviously the mom-to-be can’t indulge so using a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage tastes just as good. Now I’m thirsty!
one bag of frozen mixed berries, thawed
1/4 cup sugar
bottle of sparkling wine OR sparkling cider OR seltzer water
1. Pour thawed berries and sugar into blender and puree until smooth. You can strain it if you prefer.
2. Pour into punch bowl over ice. Add your sparkling beverage.
3. Serve in a wine or champage glass. Yum!
