I’ve been trying desperately to find a mother’s helper for this summer to help juggle a toddler and a newborn. Truthfully, I haven’t had much luck in my search. I’m using a popular babysitting “match” site {that costs an arm and a leg} to find sitters, and out of the 40 that applied maybe only 5 fit with my needs. And that’s before the interview.
Turns out another “match” site for caregivers (for children, seniors, and pets) is giving a FREE weekend of access! According to the email I received, “Care.com is running a Free Weekend March 19-21st. They are opening up their site to everyone for free. From Friday to Sunday, anyone can search for caregivers, post jobs, and get contact information. It’s a great opportunity to try out the site, and find a caregiver.”
I’m going to check it out FOR SURE. Keep your fingers crossed I can find a sitter to help me with my expanding crew!

I am so glad I don’t have to deal with finding baby sitters anymore. My babies are 28 and 24 🙂
It was much harder back in the old days to find babysitters and daycare centers. But I sure wish you luck and I hope you find someone wonderful.

Man, back when I was babysitting every job I got was the old fashioned way – neighbors and friends! I hadn’t even thought about that being updated to today – good luck with your search!
