This post on making a difference in the world through your own photography is brought to you by Johnson & Johnson and The Motherhood, who sent me a box of products and compensated me for my time. Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are all my own, and I hope you enjoy them. Many thanks to J&J for sponsoring this giveaway!
Did you feel spring in the air this week? We sure did, it’s been a beautiful week thus far around here! Warmer temps mean lots of time outside (3+ hours yesterday alone, actually) and it also means a shift in health and beauty essentials for the season. As soon as spring arrives, I clean out our first aid kit to dump expired items and purchase new supplies because each day seems to bring a skinned knee or other “booboo”. We also stock up on items for allergy season and summer skin essentials as well.
Replacing and adding new products can get expensive, but the Healthy Essentials savings program from Johnson & Johnson is here to help. Did you catch the coupon booklet in last Sunday’s paper (April 7th) with over $50 in coupons? If not, don’t fret! You can download printable Healthy Essential coupons so you can stock up on supplies without breaking the bank.
As you may know, my family has been through a journey when it comes to having healthy babies. Our daughter was very, very sick as a baby and her future was extremely uncertain. Helping babies and children (and the families that love them) has been a passion of ours, so I was thrilled to see the new Donate a Photo app from J&J. You snap a photo on your phone each day and choose one of their non-profit partners through the app, and J&J will donate a dollar for each photo they receive!* Taking photos AND helping kids (among other fantastic causes?) Count us in!
Donating your photo is so easy: I found the it in the App Store on my phone, but you can also visit the Donate a Photo site to download it and get started (it works on both iOS and Android platforms). You do need a mobile phone to donate photos, but you can follow along with the fun on any computer or tablet.
Let’s celebrate the launch of the Healthy Essentials savings program and the new app with a giveaway, shall we? In fact, you can win an assortment of fantastic J&J products sent right to your door (valued over $100, WOOT!) I mean, who wouldn’t love a bunch of items from Neutrogena, Band Aid, Listerine, Visine, Neosporin, AVEENO, and more? You’ll be all set for spring and summer!
Now that you’ve gotten a peek at what you might win (minus the Hello Kitty and Jake and the Neverland Pirates bandaids– can you guess who snagged those before I could even take this photo?) simply enter using Rafflecopter below.
Johnson & Johnson has been committed to helping families and the community at large for over 125 years. The Healthy Essentials coupon program and Donate a Photo app certainly reinforce this amazing commitment. Thank you, J&J!
What are your favorite Johnson & Johnson products? Are there any you’d love to try? And raise your hand if you stock up on Bandaids and Neosporin each spring. 🙂
* Johnson & Johnson has curated a list of trusted causes, and you can donate a photo to one cause, once a day. Each cause will appear in the app until it reaches its goal, or the donation period ends. If the goal isn’t reached, the cause will still get a minimum donation.
