Fame is fleeting.
We didn’t even get our 15 minutes.
On Sunday Noodle woke up with a 102 degree fever. It lasted the entire day, and into the next. Then Bee broke out in hives, an apparent reaction to the antibiotics he is on for his ear infection. BOO.
The last thing we want to do is bring our germs into a NICU of fragile babies, so we had to reschedule our television interview and Care Bag drop-off. We have a tentative date set for two weeks, I’ll let you know for sure as it gets closer. Don’t want to get my hopes up again!
Of course, today– the date we should have been interviewed– Noodle is no longer hot and Bee’s hives have subsided. Ah, well. Better safe than sorry. I’m wrapping them in bubble wrap for the next two weeks until those bags are in the hands of families that need them!
Side note: HOW SCARY are hives?!? Some welts were the size of thumbprints and others resembled chicken pox. Anyone else ever deal with that? Whew, I’m so not good at this parenting thing. I’m a total wreck.
