I finally got out of the house yesterday and thought I’d share a few deals I spotted!
- Old Navy is having their 50% off CLEARANCE sale. I love this sale… I scored a bunch of baby things for about $1.00 (I combined this sale with the 20% off coupon I got off of Old Navy Weekly– do you coupon hunt on there on Thursday nights? I always miss the big ones, but I like the 20% coupons when sales like this one happen…) Anyways, it had been pretty well picked over by the time I got there, but I did get a few things in case I know any 0-3 or 3-6 month sized baby girls this summer! You can also turn some of their summer dresses into winter ones by putting a long-sleeved onesie underneath and using tights or Baby Legs. They have some short sleeved shirts for ME for $4, too. Oh, and I bought an adorable pea coat for Noodle that cost $16 with my coupon. A splurge, but when so many other things were so cheap it was worth it!
- I couldn’t believe my eyes at Bed, Bath, and Beyond yesterday. The woman in front of me used 11 coupons for her 11 items. All in one transaction. Is this new? I’m not sure if it was just my clerk or not, but sure enough she let me use 2 coupons for my 2 items. Has anyone else done this there? They are having a clearance sale, too, so if you are looking for bargains you may want to check it out! (I can’t promise they’ll take multiple coupons, but it’s worth a try!)
- If you are an educator, get a Barnes and Noble educator card! I still consult for my school, so I have an i.d. card. I love getting 20% off my purchases there… the card makes it competitive with Amazon. When I was a teacher, I bought so many supplies out of pocket that the B&N educator card was a sweet little perk that lessened that financial burden.
Did you find any good deals out there? Did the multiple coupon thing work at your BB&B, too? Let me know below (feel free to link to your blog if you wrote about it!)

About B,B&B – my MIL taught me that awhile back – that you can use a coupon for EACH item. I NEVER go to that store w/o a handful of coupons! Also, in our stores here in NC – the coupons NEVER expire (the expiration date doesn’t matter!), so I have used coupons there over a year old and I never throw them away!!
Happy shopping!! Glad you got out for a bit!

Thanks, Nic! Reminds me of our fun times shopping together… it’s just not the same anymore…
GREAT to know about the expiration date, too! I’m not going to throw those out ever again!
