Welcome to our newest feature, Pass the Lemonade, where I highlight a favorite blog. Hopefully you’ll enjoy finding new blogs to read or perhaps rediscovering old ones. If you’ve been selected to be featured, congrats. It means your blog is truly a gem! Go here to learn more about why I’m featuring you, and if you want, grab a “featured on” button!
If you have young kids, you’ll want to subscribe to MaryLea’s blog, Pink and Green Mama. MaryLea is a former art teacher and her creative ideas for little ones shine. Sometimes it can be scary to attempt art projects for the toddler set, but she’s not afraid and highlights ideas that work for all ages. Here are a few of my favorites:
(isn’t that so much better than getting six different “#1 Teacher” mugs, or, my all-time favorite gift from a student: USED EARRINGS! And no, I’m not joking).
And my absolute favorite thing from her website that I MUST DO once my babies are older: birthday quilts for each child, made out of favorite baby clothes they outgrew. As if that isn’t genius enough, MaryLea plans on making a photo book for each child with stories and photos of them in the clothes. BRILLIANT!
Thanks for the great ideas, Pink and Green Mama! Noodle is finally getting old enough to do some projects, and I can’t wait to get creative with her. Thanks for the inspiration!

Stopping by from SITS to say hello. Love your motto – ‘throw them back’. Can’t we juice them and add vodka and a pink cocktail umbrella? I love Pink and Green Mama! What a fun idea you’re doing! 🙂 xoxo

Very cool idea! I found you in the SITS comments (and I had the same questions, btw!) and I’m your newest follower. I’ll definitely check out Pink & Green Mama, tho she sounds familiar, maybe I know her already ..? 😉
