Just six more hours, just six more hours, just six more hours…
Oh, sorry, did I say that out loud? I’m counting the hours until my husband gets home from a week-long trip, I’m going a little batty so excuse the mommy brain. I actually thought today was Friday from about 1-6 PM. This has felt like a very. long. week.
Thankfully my husband will come home fresh and… full of jet lag. Fun times!
Anyways, in case you took a Lemonade break this week (what?!) here’s what you missed:
- Freshen up your house 365 days a year: 10 Creative Ways to Use Cloches
- My follow-up post on kids sales– How to Shop Consignment Like a Rockstar
If I owe you an email, I’m SO SORRY. I’m the worst. I need about 5 days to catch up and I’ll be okay. 😉 It’s been one of those weeks, so thanks for bearing with me. Now, let’s talk about YOU my fabulous friends!
This handmade desk by Laughter and Grace is da bomb.
YES. My family loves tacos but they are messy for toddlers at best, disaster at worst. Teaching Good Eaters came up with an ingenious solution, and the “make-your-own” version is also brilliant.
Shop online? Of course you do. View Along the Way shows you tricks to saving big on online purchases. But step off Kelly, Jim Halpert is ALL MINE.
Pig and Paint whipped up a Mandarin Spice Cake. Yum.
Cassie’s Woodland Themed Nursery over at Primitive and Proper has so many cute touches it was hard to pick a fave. Second only to the sleeping fawn doorstop, this toadstool table (with gnome behind it!) made me smile. And after the week I had, I really need to smile.
Aren’t those projects, ideas, and recipes amazing? Y’all inspire me so much. Which means it’s time to get ready for the week at hand. Spring and Easter are in the air, so if you have any links from the archives that fit those themes feel free to link them up. But don’t hesitate to link non-springy things as well, that’s what makes Refresh My Nest so fun. You never know what you’re gonna get!
1. Leave some comment love for at least one other link. They’ll appreciate it, and so will you!
2. Include a link back to this party, or if you really love me, place the RYN button in your post:
3. Be AWESOME, and have a happy Friday. Promise?
Let’s do this thing. Ready, Set, aannnndddd…. LINK!

Thanks for featuring my Taco “Muffins.” This week I altered them slightly by using chicken and egg roll wrappers… the kids liked them, but said they still preferred the Taco Muffins.

Thanks for hosting and for the feature! I need to go pin those taco muffins, yum!
We’ll have to fight it out over Jim. The problem is that I have no interest in the actor who plays him. Just the fictional character. 🙂

Hi Carrie! Thanks for hosting! My husband is heading out next week for the week – I feel your pain. I linked up our Easter Egg dying efforts this week. We used Kool-Aid! Super fun. Have a great week!
