A sincere thank you to everyone who commented on my Intuition post this week. It was a hard one to write, but your stories and emails and connections made it so very worthwhile. Writing has always been my therapy, and it means so much that I have a place to share it. Promise, I’m not always going to be that mushy. To prove it, I posted a Thanksgiving Pumpkin Placecard tutorial the next day so you crafty types wouldn’t cancel your Making Lemonade subscriptions. 🙂
The next order of business? WINNERS! We have two. First up is the Pear Tree Greetings giveaway, and the winner was #28 (out of 84), TheRaudenbushFamily. Next up, Robert Pattinson. Yum. Er, I mean, the Water For Elephants DVD/book bundle. Winner was #22 (out of 36), Alissa@CraftyEndeavor. Congrats to you both!
Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for… FEATURES. Painfully, I chose only five (seriously, it almost hurts to narrow it down that way). Here, in no particular order, are a few wonderful Nest Refreshers that caught my eye this week:
Simply Chic Treasures shows us how to turn a boring chair into something beautiful. I’m patiently waiting my turn to try something stunning like that, now all I need is the time… and an old chair… and some paint… and… it’s gonna be awhile.
Sooner or later I’ll stop posting pumpkin recipes, but today is not one of those days. This dairy free pumpkin roll from Cabin Fevered Gem looks tasty!
Malinda from Dahlhart Lane always has something creative up her sleeve. Today, it’s a giant pumpkin.
I’m all about shortcuts, so the ‘No Judging My Shortcuts’ pillow from the Late, Young Family is something I’d attempt!
Pumpkin, again. So sorry to non-pumpkin-lovers. I’m guessing this steak is bound to end once Thanksgiving arrives. Confessions of a Stay-At-Home Mom shares how she makes homemade pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie.
I’m ending this post with a plea to all you domestic goddesses from Stephanie at A Grande Life. She needs help with two clutter-filled spots in her house:
1. Link to the specific post, not just your blog’s home page.
2. Including a link back to this party at the end of your post allows others to play along or scout out inspiration for themselves. You would be even more amazing if you posted the Refresh My Nest button– I’ve even made it super easy, just grab the code below the button and paste it in the HTML section of your post.
3. An active linky is a happy linky. PLEASE visit one or more links that interest you so that everyone gets some comments and traffic. There’s nothing more discouraging than taking time to link up and no one visits.
I’m too tired tonight to post a giveaway, so I’ll be back soon with one in a separate post. Or maybe next week. We’ll see who wins– the post or my pillow. 😉 Happy Friday, friends!

Thanks so much for your nice feature! I just added two more. I need to revamp the look of my blog and yours is so cute and inspiring that it almost makes me ready to take time to do it. 🙂 Thanks for hosting!

For the bay windows: could the person put one of those units that is designed to hold baskets under the window? You could make a cushion for it and it could act as a window seat while holding the odds and ends that accumulate.

Thanks for the feature! I just got this blog going and I’m super excited with comments and features! Much appreciated. Your botton is going on my sidebar any moment now… anyone else have troubles with Blogger this morning? yikes.

I can’t wait to poke through the posts and see all the creativity!
For the bay windows, I would decorate them with nice curtains and then display lots of pictures, etc.
