My previous experiences at Tuesday Morning were disappointing. I found the stock high priced, their shelves messy, and the selection depressing. In other words, it was no Homegoods. But I noticed they had black and white storage options featured this week, and since that matches the colors in my office cabinet I had to check it out.
I’m glad I gave it a second chance. I found a store near me that is clean, has great selection, and some up-to-date styles. I think the prices were still on the high side for “bargain” shopping, but I did find a few great things for the guest room/office I’m almost done decorating:
wrapping paper (using this for a DIY project, not gifts!): $1.99 each
wicker lined baskets: $3.99 each
plastic jars for holding office supplies- $2.99 for the package
black/white tray: $6.99
black/white box: $6.99
A way to organize all my office supplies for under $30? Priceless. {okay, not priceless. Actually $29).
I am in love with that green wrapping paper, but may actually return the box and baskets if it turns out I don’t need them. I have to organize everything first to see what is needed– and, those may not be needed!
We’re expecting snow this weekend, so it could mean being stuck inside with NOWHERE to go (but lots to do in the house, so this forces me to GET IT DONE!) I’m actually quite excited, as long as we don’t lose power. I’m hoping to get everything loaded into the office and be able to show it off soon!

Those are so cute! I can’t wait to get started on my new office space! I may need to head iver to my local Tuesday morning to see if I can find some similar jars, those look like exactly what I need! We are hibernating this weekend! I plan on getting our taxes done & our guest room tidied up!

Love what you found! I was just in Home Goods and a black and white bin I was going to get was on clearance for $12.99, which I decided was too much for a clearance price. We are supposed to get “substantial” snow tonight into tomorrow, but they aren’t committing to a number. I’ve got projects and cooking lined up though, so snow or no, I’m going with my plan!

Wendy, I know, isn’t that green GREAT?! I have been drooling over fabric in that pattern. The paper is MUCH cheaper!

I bought that SAME wrapping paper and taped it to the back of my bookcases! I LOVE IT! Such a cheap transformation and totally easy to do in an afternoon.
Cannot wait to see what you do with it!
