Shark Bite Drink Recipe (Fun Shark Week Idea!)

This delicious virgin Shark Bite Drink recipe for kids is always a hit during Shark Week festivities!

Ingredients

  • 6 oz lemon-lime soda 7-up or Sprite
  • 1 small scoop vanilla ice cream I use my cookie scoop
  • 2 TB grenadine syrup OR use syrup from maraschino cherry jar
  • 1 maraschino cherry

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash and dry plastic sharks.
  • Place scoop of ice cream at the bottom of a clear glass.
  • Slowly pour soda over the ice cream, pausing if it bubbles up so it doesn't overflow.
  • Pour the grenadine/ cherry syrup into the mouth of the shark (using a small funnel if needed.)
  • Place the shark upright in the glass just before serving, and place a maraschino cherry in it's mouth.
  • When ready to drink, pour the liquid in the shark over the drink. Enjoy!
