We are elbow deep in picking out light fixtures for our new home, and I couldn’t wait to share a few favorites! Whether your lighting is dated (hello, 1982 brass!) or builder’s grade in a new construction home (like us), there’s plenty of affordable options for finding a fixture you love. Like a gorgeous statement necklace, the right light fixture is the perfect accessory for adding your personal style to any room. And at under $200, it’s an affordable way to pack a huge design punch. We’ve rounded up 20 budget-friendly light fixtures in a variety of styles (chandeliers, pendants, sconces and even flush mounts that won’t make you cringe) that are under $200 (with a few bonus ones at the end just above that price point) for you to love. Which is your favorite?

Rejuvenation Cedar + Moss Pendant
Erkrade 5 Light Candle Chandlier
Inspire Collection 2 Light Flushmount
The perfect alternative to the dreaded ‘boob light’, I think we’re getting these in our upstairs hallway but they could go almost anywhere.
Ganador 5 Light Shaded Chandelier
This is going to be the icing on the cake for our guest room, so elegant and pretty!
Black Woven Bamboo Pendant Shade
Gladys 6 light Sputnik Chandelier
Sculptural Glass Globe Flushmount
Claxy Ecopower Vintage Metal & Glass Pendant
Varick Gallery Pointer Light Mini Pendant
Here’s a few bonus fixtures that aren’t under $200 but are pretty darn close (all are under $300!) These are more affordable versions of higher-end lighting options, especially considering their size and style.
This is perfect for lighting over an island or dining table in an on-trend rectangular cage shape.
The ever popular orb light in rich wood tones.
Oil Rubbed Bronze Linear Pendant
This one is a top contender for our dining room, so excited that it comes in a few different metallic finishes!
Bridge Industrial Pendant Light
Love the mixture of metal and rope for this chandelier with style.
We’re almost done with the lighting plan for our home; with an open concept it’s a little more challenging to make sure everything coordinates without the lights being *too* matchy-matchy. This round-up of affordable lighting options is making me kinda giddy, though!
