When I first started blogging years ago, I remember a woman who decorated her entire home for Christmas using materials she found in her backyard. She didn’t spend a DIME on decorations, it was literally all from the woods. The effect was stunning– simple evergreen boughs, a few swags of pine, an advent wreath made with the just the ends of a tree branch. I wish she still blogged. Her creativity in that post had a profound effect in helping me realize how much we tend to spend on temporary decorations when straight-from-nature will often be a showstopper. By taking inventory of the greenery and goodies available in nature, we can whip together free Christmas decor or gifts to share!
With that idea in mind, here’s 25 Christmas decorations made using natural materials (plus a few things from around your home and perhaps a glue gun, and glitter– gotta throw in some glitter.)
