20 Affordable Outdoor Rugs (So Pretty You’ll Want Them Indoors Too!)

One of my decorating secrets has been my unabashed use of outdoor rugs in inside spaces. They are perfect for messier areas like kitchens or dining areas where you want a punch of color but need to be able to clean up messes easily, PLUS they typically cost less than indoor rugs in similar sizes. Patios, decks and porches become spa-esque when you add a rug to zhush up the space. Case in point: our deck in Pennsylvania (we miss this deck and our yard so much it hurts):
We currently have an outdoor rug under our kitchen table to protect the hardwood floors from the chairs and make the space cozier. I’ve been scouting outdoor runners for our kitchen so I don’t have to panic if I drop something on it, plus with our screened porch addition on the horizon I want to have one ready for our new summer space too!
