Even if Mother’s Day looks a little different this year, we still want to celebrate the important women in our lives! This Mother’s Day Gift Guide is full of practical things she will use and love for years to come, whether you’re celebrating Mother’s Day at home or from far away.
If you’re the kind that likes giving gifts that are handmade, how about these DIY leather earrings or these 15 DIY self care ideas to shower your mom with love!
When 2020 started, I was not planning on celebrating Mother’s Day at home. I also didn’t anticipate having to plan so far in advance in terms of finding gifts that can be shipped since browsing stores in person is a luxury right now!
It’s crazy how things have changed and I think we all still have our heads spinning a bit. And with all the changes, us mamas have had an extra burden placed on our shoulders. The mental load mothers typically carry with them was just doubled as we navigate the new normal.
Or if you’re one of those crazy people who’s actually learned how to get yourself and your children together, please hit me up because your girl is over here the mayor of Struggleville. 🙂
I can speak from the experience of the past few months that my needs and wants for Mother’s Day have definitely changed, so this year I rounded up things that I (selfishly) would want myself, especially considering the times! There’s plenty of ideas in here for the women in your life, near and far, that they’ll use and love.
Some gifts are to help make the days at home more comfortable and fun (like this, this and this) and some (like this and this) are to add a little flair in anticipation of eventually leaving the house.
I added in a few gifts that are downright awesome, like this adorable mini-fridge for mom to fill with beverages, icy face masks, and the good snacks.
All in all, this is one of my favorite gift guides ever because it’s filled with gift ideas that are both practical and lovely; everyday items that have a little extra sparkle or are just downright pretty. If you’re making coffee, might as well be with an adorable coffeemaker, am I right?!
