What I’m Wearing On Repeat This Summer (Summer Style Favorites)

Summer is here, and it’s my favorite time of the year for several reasons– topping the list is my love of easy breezy summer fashion! I love the ease of kicking on a pair of sandals, fun statement earrings, and a flowy sundress and walking out the door. Maybe a light cardigan to go over it, definitely a fun clutch, and DONE. I’ve been wearing several pieces on repeat and wanted to share in case you’re looking for gorgeous grab-and-go summer ideas too!
First up, I found this chambray halter a few weeks ago and wear it AT LEAST once week. The secret to making it work is my new favorite strapless bra which finally makes it comfortable to go with a halter or off-the-shoulder style top. I can’t believe I’m sharing this on the internets, but as a size 34DD, I’ve struggled to find a strapless bra that fits comfortably all day long and this one is it! Also, can we just talk a sec about these jeans? FINALLY a pair of white jeans that aren’t see-thru, tucks everything in, and fits like a glove. I recommend sizing down a size (for example, normally I’m a size 6 and in these I’m size 4.)

Another magic combo has been this bathing suit and coverup situation. I used to DREAD going to the pool because I was so self-conscious about how I looked in a swimsuit, opting for skirted Lands End tankinis that covered me up but also made me look 10 years older than my actual age. I saw this one-piece Miracle swimsuit while browsing online and tried it out and am in LOVE! Every time I wear it I get tons of compliments and people asking where they can get one too, which trust me, has never happened before. The sheer panels and asymmetrical strap are so stylish and pretty, while still keeping the look modest and flattering. Judging from the reviews this suit fits a wide range of sizes; I sized way up but it’s different for everyone! The palm leaf coverup is on-trend and only $18, and it pops perfectly against the black bathing suit.

When it comes to shoes, I’m all about kicks that match my clothes to make running out the door effortless. These are my fave casual sneakers whenever I’m wearing jeans and running errands or going shopping. I splurged and bought this pair of Tory Burch Millers (color is ‘sand patent’) because they literally go with all the things and will stay in style for years to come. My leopard sandals from last year are still going strong too, these are firmly in the neutral category and go with errrrrything.

Another fave from last year is this Michael Stars dolman sleeves top. I’ve paired it with gold oval earrings that look great on everyone– I’m wearing it here in this recent pic from Nashville (I’m the third one in the photo); it was the perfect top for traveling (we’d all just gotten off various planes and were so happy to see each other!)

If you’re into exercising outdoors, my friends got me hooked on Goodr sunglasses. I’ve been wearing them biking and running, they’re no-slip and don’t break the bank at only $25. Plus they come in so many fun colors! I make sure to use sunscreen every time I step outside the house and that LaRoche Posay is my FAVE. I accidentally ordered the tinted version but I’m glad I did, it sinks in quickly and gives me a bit of color so I don’t worry about foundation. It’s pricey but that little bottle will last all summer long. The black flipbelt is a lifesaver (literally.) It has pockets for my mace (there was a coyote spotted in our neighborhood last month!) and I stick my phone and keys/id in it when I’m running on trails. And yeah, I’m still old school with my wired earbuds. Any recommendations for a wireless pair that won’t fall out when running?
Summer accessories are the best. A fun clutch and bold statement earrings really make the outfit. I picked up this pom pom trimmed straw clutch and those saucy tassel earrings while on a date night last week. There’s several more clutches and statement earrings linked below– it’s the little details that count!
Last but not least, I’ve been wearing this striped sundress non-stop. The price is a steal and it goes over my bathing suit, and is equally great for just about every summer activity. AND IT HAS POCKETS so it’s mom-tastic. In fact, I’m wearing right now as I type this.
Since summer is on the brain, here’s a roundup of my summer favorites; most of these items I already own, and the few that I don’t have (yet) are on my wish list. It ranges from summer jammies to beach coverups to date night tops to statement earrings to pep up any outfit:
