Fall Decor Idea: Succulent Pumpkins

I love fall decor in other people’s homes, it’s just hard to find time to all-out decorate my own home for fall in this season of my life. In fact, it’s hard to find time to shower let alone make a wreath out of baby pumpkins or string orange lights all over the roof. Which is why I came up with a handful of 5-minute fall decor ideas, and I’m excited to start rolling them out today!
This fall decor idea was born when I found the most perfect little succulent and a mini white pumpkin in the same shopping spree at our local nursery. As I loaded them into the car they bumped together and I went “AHA!”
Five minutes total from pumpkin to AWESOME PUMPKIN PLANTER.
You can probably figured this out already, but just in case: first, carefully cut around the top.
Then, enlist your orange-marker-handed daughter to scoop it out.
Then, simply plant your succulent right in that pumpkin…
and place it all around your home.
Simple. DIY. Fall. Decor.
Now THAT’S a seasonal decor trend I can embrace!
What do you think– do you like simple fall decor ideas or was this one a little tooooooo easy?
{Or are you an easy type of gal? Wait, you know what I mean… right?!}
