It’s almost time for the big Thanksgiving meal, and I have to say– LEFTOVERS ARE FOR QUITTERS! At least, that’s what this FREE printable says, and we think it’s funny enough to be printed out as decor for your Thanksgiving table, printed onto placemats, or made into a t-shirt for your favorite Thanksgiving meal lover. Don’t we all know that one person who just adores turkey and gravy and stuffing and all the fixings who’d wear this quote on a t-shirt with pride?!
Of course, after uploading the photos to this post I realized I trimmed the paper a bit lopsided before framing, and it’s too late to reshoot the photos, but I know you won’t have that problem. That’s what I get for crafting and drinking Prosecco at the same time. #youvebeenwarned
How do you use the free Thanksgiving printable?
What can you do with this free printable? Print and pop into a frame for instant Thanksgiving decorations! Or print and copy onto longer paper to make fun placemats. You can also use your printer settings to print it onto transfer paper to make napkins, tea towels, or t-shirts to give or use as personal gifts.
When printing for transfer, make sure you get the right paper for both your printer and intended surface. For example, there’s transfer paper for both laser printers or inkjet printers. There’s also fabric transfer paper (make sure you get the right one, they have a dark fabric or light fabric version) or decal paper for hard surfaces such as glass, ceramic, or metal.
If you use this as a decal, you’ll also most likely need to resize and print it out backwards using your printer settings. Refer to the instructions for the exact transfer paper you choose.
How to Style the Free Thanksgiving Printable
I used to dread styling decor until I found a few key pieces and then it became a fun time to get creative and mix and match decor items that I love. One favorite is this wood frame in which I change out the art constantly, so that’s a good thing to have on hand and I simply switch out the art inside seasonally.
Another handy item is a garland in a style you love. I personally adore the eucalyptus garland I found last year and it works as well in summer as it does during the holidays.
Since I love a pop of gold, I have a few pieces such as these gold pinecone S&P shakers. Of course, I had to add my gold wishbone when styling up my sideboard– and truth be told, it stays out all year long somewhere in my home, it’s not just for Thanksgiving. The ‘grateful’ fabric is simply a tea towel I found at Homegoods tucked under everything.
And these plates were scooped up on sale last season at Pottery Barn. They’re a pretty addition to my Thanksgiving table and I’m glad I found them.
