This spiked lemonade recipe is the perfect rum cocktail for summer. With it’s stunning ‘seaside blue’ color, Tipsy Mermaid Lemonade mixes spirits and lemonade for a yummy rum-infused drink. Whether you sip it by the sea or inland, this fun summer cocktail is sure to delight!

We’re kicking off the summer of lemonade with this tipsy mermaid lemonade, which can be summed up in three words: Simple. Summer. Sips.
Ohhhh, I like how that sounds, don’t you?!
This drink embodies all three of those words: first, it’s simple and easy. The turquoise color embodies summer and reminds me of the ocean. And you’ll enjoy sipping it poolside all summer long!
The dash of Blue Curacao gives it a beautiful ombre look when poured:
While this particular drink is made with rum, you can always use Malibu coconut rum instead for an instant trip to the tropics!
Also, switch up the garnishes. We love cherries and lemons for a colorful look, but you can add in a skewer of pineapple and lime to switch things up. No mater what you choose, you’ll enjoy this refreshing summer spiked drink!
How to Make Tipsy Mermaid Lemonade (Spiked Lemonade)
Tipsy Mermaid Lemonade (Fun Summer Cocktail Recipe!)
Ingredients
- 1 handful ice
- ½ cup lemonade
- 1 ½ oz. white rum
- splash blue curacao
- Fresh lemon slices for garnish
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Add ice to your glass.
- Add lemonade and white rum, and stir.
- Add a splash blue curacao and stir, or slowly pour on top and let the colors meld for an ombre effect.
- Garnish with fresh lemon slices and maraschino cherries, and enjoy!
