You guys. Today (if all goes as planned, which is rarely does, but I digress) we will be homeowners again! We’ve been waiting not-so-patiently for our house to be finished, and believe it or not one BIG challenge for this DIY blogger has been not having a yard or garage in which to paint. We’re not allowed to do it at our apartment for obvious reasons, which is challenging when you’re writing a book that requires 40 DIY projects! Needless to say, one of the first things I plan to do when we move grab my paint nozzle and GET GOING.

Jazz up any old jar with a coat of gold spray paint and you have glam vases in a pinch! You can even mix and match styles.
This vintage phone went from just shabby to shabby chic with a couple coats of pink paint.

For a door that’s a little too tedious to paint by hand, spray paint can be a quick solution. You do have to remove the door and tape off any windows or trim, but after that, the door makeover is smooth sailing (or smooth painting, I should say).
