First, grab a can of biscuit dough (you know, the kind in the can that pops out and scares me every. darn. time.)

Then, cut each piece of biscuit dough into four equal pieces. Roll them into small balls, and dip each little ball into the melted butter.

Finally, roll the buttery dough balls in the pumpkin pie spice and sugar and bake them in the air fryer for just 5-7 minutes at 350 degrees.

That really is it! After about five minutes, check on your donut holes. They should be fluffy and slightly crispy on the outside. If they aren’t puffed up enough, let them bake for another 2-3 minutes or so.

If you aren’t in the mood for the pumpkin spice flavor, just cover them in a cinnamon-sugar blend. It never goes out of style.

How to store air fryer donut holes

These air fryer donut holes taste incredible when they are fresh out of the air fryer. The pumpkin spice aroma fills your kitchen, and the fluffy donut holes melt in your mouth – there is nothing like it!

However, you can store them in an airtight food storage container or a resealable bag. Keep them at room temperature. Eat them within three days for the best experience.

Can you freeze air fryer donut holes?

Yes, you can freeze the pumpkin spice donut holes. However, I will warn you that they are so easy to make that you don’t really save time freezing them.

If you store them correctly, they will stay fresh in the freezer for up to six months.

Here’s how to freeze your donut holes:

  • First, bake them according to the directions on the recipe card, and then let them cool completely.
  • When they are room temperature, place them on a baking sheet that you lined with parchment paper.
  • Put the baking sheet in the freezer, keeping it level.
  • Freeze them for about 2-3 hours.
  • When they are completely frozen, place them in a freezer-safe resealable food storage bag and put them back in the freezer.

There you go! You won’t believe how much fun these are to make (almost as fun as they are to eat).
