This time of year, it’s impossible not to…
It’s about time some of these pumpkin decor ideas got off Pinterest and into my house. Here’s a few favorite ideas from around the web that range from simple to complex, modern to vintage, fancy to shabby– but all of them are fabulous.
Yesterday I mentioned my husband and I fell in love over fried pickles, but the truth is we met over ginkgo leaves. It’s a long story that only people from my college will immediately understand, but these beautiful leaves (with stinky berries) have quite a place in my heart. As does this decorated pumpkin from Martha Stewart.
This monogram pumpkin is not only easy but inexpensive because it can be used year to year. Or add some sparkle to your front doorstep with rhinestone pumpkins that can be made in under 5 minutes thanks to this secret trick.
I mentioned this on my Facebook page yesterday, but these Painted Rock Jack O’ Lanterns from The Creek Line House would be fun for the whole family to make.

Digging through the archives I found this trip to our local pumpkin patch that has photos of at least ten different varieties of pumpkins. The colors and variations are amazing! And so is Noodle’s love for that large pumpkin. {and while browsing, I found this vintage pumpkin post— one of my very first posts– shot with a point and shoot camera and Noodle’s NG tube on full display. My, how far we’ve both come!}
