I’m not sure about you, but I’m dreaming of the beach and carefree beachy hair. Being at home has made me so much more grateful for the things that I once took for granted like living within driving distance to amazing coastal waters!

The stress of the past year (and also as a side effect from medication I take for my autoimmune disease) has caused my hair to fall out more than normal and look a bit… needy. I asked a friend with amazing hair how she gets it so shiny and long, and she shared this secret- Mermaid Hair Spray!

I’ve had several other friends chime in that the essential oils in this blend really do aid in hair growth, especially Cedarwood. Since the scent of Cedarwood isn’t my fave, the other oils not only promote a healthy scalp and hair growth, but also make the scent smell delicious.

Along with the Mermaid Hair recipe, we’ve also whipped up free printable labels for you to use. It’s suggested you use waterproof label or sticker paper so the image doesn’t smear if it gets wet.

I’ve made several bottles of Mermaid Hair and keep them in our bathroom, nightstand, and pool bag so we always have it when needed. Personally, I like to apply it at the scalp on wet hair after a shower and at night before bed if I know I’m going to wash my hair the next day. The key is consistent use.

With summer around the corner, it seems like it’s the perfect time to show you guys how to make this DIY mermaid hair spray to support long and luxurious hair!

  1. Very excited, and shocked, to learn I have all three of those oils…that never happens!! I have been noticing thinning in the form of my hair, and started taking collagen recently to keep my hair from falling out. Hopefully this will help it grow back!

  2. People in my area are oblivious to the fact that fast hair growth amino scalp therapy shampoos (obviously with no sulfates, no parabens, no DEA) are a thing. Hair styling enthusiasts can now have longer hair and achieve more possibilities. Surely worth checking out.

Whether you’re studying alopecia, hair damage, avoiding scalp disorders, hair growth, hair and scalp health generally, the same thoughts come to mind.

In general, you should try to steer clear of hair treatments and products that contain chemicals like parabens, DEA or sulfates.

What’s good for your hair is good for your skin all the same.

For obvious reasons the content on this page hits the nail in the head for so many reasons. It stays away from the common pitfalls and pitfalls too many fall into- getting ineffective alternatives. Keep it up!

  3. Made this 2 months ago. Had hair loss in areas from scalp psoriasis that flared up with stress of taking care of my Mom. This works💫 smells good and I started noticing my hair coming back after trying a lot of other things. Also taking better care of myself inside shows on the outside. Will be using this always😊
