Last year’s Christmas clutter had me feeling totally depleted. After the holidays I’d just had ENOUGH. Enough stuff. Enough clutter. Enough stress and blowing the budget. Enough of mismatched styles and towering bins of décor I no longer loved. Amidst the chaos, I made a snap decision to start from scratch. My budget (and free space in my home) doesn’t allow for a huge shopping spree, so I created a careful plan to focus on how I wanted my holiday décor to feel this year.
I wanted it to feel simple, warm, glowing, and organic. Which brings to mind… Scandinavian! Those Norsemen (and women) (and, vikings?) know how to make the long nights glow. A simple pine bough becomes elegant, white candles glowing on the table are perfection. That’s what I want this year. I mean, GAH, look at how pretty:
How do simple, glowing, cozy Christmas ideas sound to you? Some are rustic. Some are modern. Some are neutral with pops of color. Most are very budget-friendly. All are perfect for my style… and I’m hoping for yours, too. You can always tweak the colors or materials to fit your style, I’m a huge fan of tweaking. But not twerking. Let’s get that straight.
But I digress. What were we talking about? Twerking? NO. Scandi Style Christmas decor, with a side of glam.
