Are you ready for the easiest kids craft idea ever? FINGER PUPPETS! All it takes is some scissors, construction paper, glue, markers, and possibly googly eyes– and then you’ll have hours of play. In fact, we took advantage of this wonderful weather and placed all those craft supplies out on our deck and let the kids go nuts. Then daddy joined it, and that’s when things got really fun– they made minions.
For younger kids, cut out a reasonable sized shape and have them draw facial features. Older kids (and daddies) love to glue on googly eyes, yarn, and more.
We don’t get fancy around here. A simple strip of paper and piece of tape to secure it becomes the base.
Here’s the back. A stray googly eye is just a bonus.
Oh we had fun!
Ready for some simple summer crafting? Go grab a few favorite craft supplies and let imaginations go wild. In the end, you’ll have finger puppets galore for some fun pretend play. This scene was called Minions meet YiaYia and Grampie.
